Why this exists

Heir claims are the highest-value type of unclaimed property. They're also the worst served. State websites assume you know the difference between letters testamentary and a small-estate affidavit. Estate attorneys charge $250–500/hr. Heir-finder firms charge 10–35% of your recovery to do paperwork.

Our position: most heir claims don't need a lawyer or a finder. They need someone to explain the state's actual process, hand over the right forms pre-filled, and answer the weird specific questions that come up mid-claim. That's what the packet is.

What you get

State-specific forms, pre-filled

Your case details on the right form for your state — California heir affidavit, Texas claim package, New York OUF form, and more. We handle the boilerplate.

Document checklist tailored to your state

Death certificate format, notarization rules, supporting documents — exactly what your state requires, in order, in plain English.

Heir-consent templates

Splitting property among siblings? Multi-heir consent forms ready to send. We've done the legal-language work.

90 days of AI-assisted help

A chat that already knows your case and your state. Ask the weird specific questions that come up — what to do if the state asks for something you don't have, how to draft an escalation email, what changes if you missed a notarization.

FAQ

What's actually in the packet?

Four things. (1) Your state's official heir-claim form, pre-filled with your case details. (2) A document checklist showing exactly what your state requires, in order, with notarization flags. (3) Sample heir-consent templates for splitting property among multiple heirs. (4) A state-specific written guide covering processing time, common rejection reasons, and what to do if the state pushes back.

How does the AI assistant work?

After purchase, you get 90 days of access to a chat that already knows your state, your case, and the heir-claim process inside out. Ask follow-up questions, request a redrafted email to the state office, or walk through edge cases like multi-heir disputes or missing documents. It's not a generic chatbot — it's loaded with your case file and your state's specific procedure.

Can the AI give me legal advice?

No. We are not a law firm and the AI is explicitly not a lawyer. It can explain processes, draft language, walk you through forms, and answer factual questions about how your state's unclaimed-property division operates. For genuine legal advice — disputed estates, contested wills, complex tax questions — see an estate attorney.

Do you file the claim for me?

No. We give you everything you need to file the claim yourself. The state requires *you* (or the executor) to sign and submit. We don't represent you, don't appear before the state, and don't take a cut of the recovery. The state pays you directly. We're a tool, not a service.

Why $129? Finders only charge a percentage.

Finders charge 10–35% of the recovered amount, capped by state law. If your relative had $5,000 in unclaimed property, a finder might take $500–$1,750 for the same paperwork. Our $129 is a flat fee that doesn't scale with your recovery. For a $1,000+ claim, we save you money. For complex multi-state estates, we save you a lot.

Which states are covered?

At launch, the top 10 states by population: California, Texas, Florida, New York, Pennsylvania, Illinois, Ohio, Georgia, North Carolina, Michigan. Adding 5–10 states per month after that. If your relative's property is in a state we don't cover yet, we'll either tell you up front or add it within 30 days of your purchase.

What if I'm not satisfied?

7-day refund, no questions asked, as long as you haven't used the AI chat. Beyond that, we'll work with you. We'd rather refund a frustrated buyer than have an angry review on the internet.

When does the packet launch?

We're validating demand now with this waitlist. If enough people sign up, we ship the MVP in 2 weeks. Waitlist members get 50% off the launch price ($65 instead of $129) and first access. We'll email you either way — confirming your launch slot or letting you know if we're holding off.
