What we collect

• Names you search (first + last). Used only to query state databases. Not stored beyond a 7-day cache.
• Standard server logs (IP, user-agent, timestamp). Used for abuse prevention. Rotated after 30 days.
• Email — only if you buy a paid feature. Used for receipt and customer support.

What we don't collect

• SSN. Ever.
• Bank account credentials.
• Email or phone unless you paid for something.
• Government ID images. (Those go to the state, never to us.)

Who we share with

• Stripe — payment processing only.
• State databases — your search query (name) gets sent to public state search endpoints. Same as if you searched them yourself.
• No advertisers, no data brokers, no resale.
